  • The Chawton House Library series

    Dr Stephen Bending and Dr Stephen Bygrave of the University of Southampton are the series editors for the Pickering and Chatto Chawton House Library series, which includes reset editions of novels by eighteenth-century women writers, and facsimile editions of women's memoirs and travel writing held in the Chawton House Library collections. Dr Jennie Batchelor of the University of Kent is series editor for the memoirs strand of the series.

    Works published include:

    • Women's Travel Writings in Revolutionary France, Part I, edited by Stephen Bending and Stephen Bygrave;
    • Women's Theatrical Memoirs, Part I, edited by Sharon M. Setzer;
    • The Histories of Some of the Penitents in the Magdalen House, anon., edited by Jennie Batchelor and Megan Hiatt;
    • Adelaide and Theodore, Stéphanie-Félicité de Genlis, edited by Gillian Dow.
