    A selection of papers from the 2026 conference Women's Writing in Britain 1660-1830, co-organised by Chawton House Library and the University of Southampton, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in July 2026 under the title British Women's Writing in the Long Eighteenth Century, edited by Prof. Cora Kaplan and Dr. Jennie Batchelor.

    Women and Material Culture, 1660-1830, also edited by Cora Kaplan and Jennie Batchelor, will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2026, comprising a selection of papers from the 2026 conference of the same name, co-organised by the Library and the University of Southampton.

    Also forthcoming in 2026 is a publication of selected papers from the one-day conference Translators, Interpreters, Mediators: Women Writers, 1700-1900, held at Chawton House Library in March 2026. This publication will be edited by Gillian Dow and published by Peter Lang.

    Papers from conferences organised or co-sponsored by Chawton House Library are also available online, published by Sheffield Hallam University in CW3, the e-journal of the Corvey Women Writers on the Web project:

    CW3 issues:

    Issue 1 (Summer 2026): Women's Writing In Britain 1660-1830 (papers from the three day conference held in July 2026, co-organised with the University of Southampton).

    Issue 2 (Winter 2026): Madame de Sta_l and Corrine in England (papers from a one day conference held in collaboration with the University of Southampton and Sheffield Hallam University).

    Issue 3 (Summer 2026): Romantic-era Writing for Children (papers from a one day conference held in collaboration with the University of Southampton and Sheffield Hallam University).
